Ready to join the likes of Eminem, Travis Scott and Drake, and get your own personalized pair of Air Jordans? Then join us as we're adding a golden touch to the iconic sneaker.
Ever since the eighties, the Michael Jordan sneakers and the “Jumpman” silhouette have defined and shaped sneaker culture. The iconic shoes transcend their basketball roots and have gone from street fashion item to high-end fashion staple.
Air Jordan, owned by Nike, are well known for reaching out to famous music artists and let them help create unique Air Jordans. The celebrities sporting custom AJs include artists like Travis Scott,]Eminem and Drake. Now you will be able to create your own pair of AJ1s as well.
As an homage to this classic shoe, we’ve decided to give it our own special kind of love - Golden Concept style.
But first - a trip down memory lane...
The original Airless Jordan sneakers were produced in early 1984, for Michael Jordan exclusively. The shoes were released to the public in late 1984. The shoes were designed for Nike by Peter Moore, Tinker Hatfield, and Bruce Kilgore.
The red and black colorway of the Nike Air Ship, the prototype for the Jordan I, was later outlawed by the NBA for having to little white on them. After the first style being banned was banned, Michael Jordan and Nike introduced the Jordan I in colorways with more white, such as the "Chicago" and "Black Toe" colorways.
They cleverly used the Nike Air Ship's ban as a promotional tool, hinting that the shoes gave an unfair competitive advantage, and the shoes have been growing in popularity ever since.
Limited Edition – Customizing a Classic
Our Customized Air Jordan 1 Mid sneakers are inspired by the first AJ1. Our design team have carefully replaced the Nike swoosh with a crocodile embossed leather in red, yellow, blue or green. We’ve then added our signature gold details, for a true luxury edition of one of the greatest sneakers of all time.
This range of Air Jordans will be limited to 85 pieces in each color - each one with its unique number and date of production stamped on the GC hangtag on the side of the left shoe. You can personalize the sneakers even further, by adding your initials on the leather tag at the back of the shoes.
"The Last Dance" on Netflix
